Who we are

StudyMate is an OrgSpace product that provides technical interview preparation, learning content, coding practice, notifications, and user support.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, email-verification status, password hash, referral code, and referral attribution.
• App and service information: app and build versions, device name, brand, model, platform and OS version supplied by the app, authentication-session records, notification read state, and technical logs needed for reliability and security.
• User-provided content: ratings, feedback, support tickets, and support conversation messages.

How we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, provide StudyMate features, deliver service and account messages, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve the product.

Sharing and sale of data

StudyMate does not sell personal information. Data may be processed by service providers used for hosting, email delivery, security, and product operations, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Security and retention

Passwords are stored using one-way password hashing. Access controls, limited logging, and session expiration are used to protect account data. Information is retained only while needed for the service, security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational records.

Deletion and user choices

You may request deletion of your account or selected StudyMate data at https://orgspace.in/studymate/data-deletion. You may also contact connect@orgspace.in for privacy assistance.

Children

StudyMate is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their location. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed.

We may update this policy when StudyMate features or legal requirements change. The version and effective date shown on this page identify the current policy.
